Question on Rev 8:1:5?

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.

Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. (Rev. 8:1-5)

Is the Angel that has the golden censer a particular one, or just a random angel?

Question on Rev 8:1:5?
u should know the answer to that. Yes I am back how r u My Dear Sister In the Lord...
Reply:It appears to be just a random angel... Perhaps it is a particular one, but scripture doesn't tell us, so we have no way of knowing.
Reply:random

you do know this is a ''vision''(hallucination) john is describing
Reply:Errr, I havent got that far yet!!

It's so long and boring, I don't know how you put yourself through it!!
Reply:I'm sure God gave him the specific authority and the responsibility to do what he did. So although we don't know his name, he was probably particular to God.
Reply:the seven seals, the seven angels, the seven trumpets,

all refer to that going on in each individual

it is, you see, that the lessons need to be applied by each individual

then they become real for that individual

lip service does not make a thing real

if you would apply the teachings you would not need to ask

you would know and be
Reply:The angels are not identified by name.

Only Archangels names are recorded.
Reply:I think it's a random angel if you ask me. Sorry.

A Message To Most

Glory hear the angels sing,

Oh, here comes the new born king,

For peace on earth has found its death,

Every drop gone, ancient is its final breath,

So take your families, gather round under the gaping sky,

Today’s the day for all to die,

Gawk and gasp as the angel’s rain down,

From glowing wings to shining gown,

Their trumpets sing a deafening sound,

By justice we are soon to all be drowned.

And the thunder will strike with uncanny force,

Bedtime story creatures ride in by horse,

The heavens become a palette of purple, red, and arrays of blue,

Oh my, most will cry, and no one will know what to do,

The clouds are parting now, and from its mouth meteors descend,

To no living creature will they befriend,

Cities crackle and fall in flames and burn,

Such is the ceremony for His return,

And none of humanities fools may avoid Satan’s eternal rape,

A message to most: you will not escape.

....Haha. Humanitys screwed. Then again, so am I. Damn.

In glory now hear the eternal Slumber

Of he who dies a thousand times

In darkness his repast does thunder

Of the souls of those who long have died

Darkness is but lights cold friend

For without the one there can be the naught

In calling towards the Long Lost End

Our eternal rebirth will be one unsought

Do not cry kindly for the night

For does night enrapture and increase your worth

Everily does the eternal fight

For our souls dominion on this earth

Satan's song is long and dreary

Of worthless lyric and wantless rhyme

Of all to say that we should be hearing

Is our own song within this limited time

For it's glory comes, our music's ending

Our glory is the here and now

Let us sing our song of sending

Us to heaven's glorious prow

I love your poem, it made me want to write this.

Here are several teachings on Revelation, and if you scroll down, you'll find them separated by verses within Revelation. You'll hear the details there, but to give you the quick answer, the trumpets are announcing the judgements of God. What it means is that Jesus continues to try to draw people to Himself, whether it be through blessing or judgements, to wake us up that He is there.
Reply:It's part of the implant. When we were sent to this planet we were implanted with false ideas and realities, God being one of them.

That's why God is so agreed upon. It is a false implanted reality.

An implant is created by using pain ,drugs and unconsciousness. Then you can lay in a false reality.

From time to time people actually recall some parts of these implants.

There were trumpets in the implants, this is part of the false reality you are looking at.

What is the common name for Datura Inoxia flower?

This is a large, white, night blooming flower in the form of an annual shrub, not to be confused with a vine of the morning glory family which is called moonflower. The blooms do not hang down like angel's trumpet.

What is the common name for Datura Inoxia flower?
Datura inoxia (angel's-trumpet, thorn-apple, downy thorn-apple, Indian-apple, moonflower, sacred datura, toloatzin, or toloache) is a species in the family Solanaceae. It is native to the Americas, and introduced in Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe. The scientific name is often cited as D. innoxia.
Reply:Datura Inoxia is variously called angel's-trumpet, thorn-apple, downy thorn-apple, Indian-apple, moonflower, sacred datura, toloatzin, or toloache. Although it is not the same as the various plants you mentioned this is due to different people giving different plants the same name. If you want to be exact with any plant you'll have to use the latin name.
Reply:it is sometimes known as the Devils trumpet.
Reply:Angel trumpets.

The seedpod is called a Thornapple :)

Hope this helped you! :)

Help!I'm Killing my Plants!?

I have a fuschia and an angel's trumpet that aren't doing so hot. I guess I should mention that I have a balck thumb. The fuschia is losing all of it's leaves and getting a little crispy. I have it hanging in partial sun and water it frequently as well as spritz it in the eveing with a spray bottle. The angel's trumpet is doing a little better, but it;s leaves are starting to yellow, and I'm not sure what's wrong with it. It's about 2 ft. high now and has never bloomed. Can anyone give me some advice or should I stick to cacti?

Help!I'm Killing my Plants!?
Maybe the roots dont have enough room, have you upgraded to bigger pots since the plants have grown?
Reply:you need to transplant them into larger pots with fresh potting soil. Don't water too much, plants only need to be watered three times a week. When you water, only pour water in until you barely see it seeping from underneath the pot. Try to keep them out of the direct sun. Hope this helps
Reply:Try transferring them to a bigger pot they may have what is called,

"root rot"... I had a fern that just wouldn't grow But once I transferred it did fine.. Also since it is so hot try keeping them, If possible, in the shade during the hottest part of the day.. Let them get the morning and late, late afternoon sun, might help to kept the leaves from burning.. Also use Miracle Grow it really does help..

Like you I also have somewhat of a "Black Thumb".. until about 2 years ago.. don't know what changed but something did so don't give up you might just have a "Green Thumb" someday!!
Reply:THESE ARE PRIMARILY SHADE TYPE PLANTS......BUT YOU MIGHT HAVE GIVEN TOO MUCH WATER.....OR TOO LITTLE.....IT SHOULD HAVE GOOD DRAINAGE AND FRESH SMALL AMOUNTS OF WATER....NEXT TIME...GIVE SOME MIRACLE GROW MIXTURE IN THE WATER ACCORDING TO THE MIR. GRW. MIXTURE ON THE LABEL......
Reply:Move them both to a new location out of the sun and keep them evenly moist (don't let them dry out). Don't fertilize or do ANYTHING until they have stopped wilting and are turgid again.

If they are root-bound (roots encircling the pot) them move them up to a bigger container with quality potting soil.

Good luck!
Reply:The Fuchsia sounds like it is dead! Maybe you overwatered it, and sprayed it when the Sun was still hot? This would account for the ceispy leaves.
Reply:make sure that you are not watering your plants with water that goes through a water softener
Reply:Bigger pots, and also... coffee (I use it on all my pots and they are doing great), just leftover coffee in the morning works.
Reply:put in biger pot
Reply:Sounds like you are over-watering and underfeeding them. Solution: make sure they have a tray under each plant container where the water can pool after watering them. Do not water until that tray is dry. Also, you should give them some Miracle Grow every month so that they get some food. Good luck!
Reply:to much water will kill your plants to often let plant dry out and water thoroughly till water runs out of bottom do not let them sit in water do not spray them it sounds like your roots are rotting because of to much water also miricile grow id throw both out and start over easy on the water good luck
Reply:A little plant food might help.
Reply:Only water outside plants before 10 am and after 4 pm, otherwise the leaves get burned off from the reflection of the water droplets.

Try giving it some food. Osmocote is a good one, little time released pellets,it lasts 4 months. Shulz is another good one, you mix with water. Use as directed. Good luck
Reply:You should just give up.
Reply:Sounds like they may be one of many things...

thirsty

over watered

too much sun

too little sun

Ask your local nursery since it's hard to judge since we don't know where you are.
Reply:"Water it frequently" Maybe you are over watering it. Check to see if the compost is not waterlogged. It is a common fault.
Reply:water them once a week or you will drown them.

How will the deaf hear the angel's trumpets during Armageddon?

Lol while everyone else is freaking out they're sitting around wondering wtf is going on.

How will the deaf hear the angel's trumpets during Armageddon?
Haha no seriously, Jesus will heal everyone who can't hear right after he shows up in the clouds. He will then regrow the limbs on all amputees. Then, and only then will Armageddon venture forth.
Reply:The deaf cannot hear.

However, I think closed captions would be helpful in this case.
Reply:And what about the blind? Remember, Revelation states that EVERY eye will see him when he returns. What about the blind people, who wouldn't be able to see him? Does God hate blind people or something?
Reply:No! I have many deaf friends and they can feel vibrations and God would make them feel it.
Reply:God says it will happen and it will..We will all hear and see.
Reply:lol
Reply:No its a blessing in disguise...either that or Noah comes down as the Great ASL translator.

Can angel's trumpets be grown and kept inside?
I'm in zone 5 (Wisconsin), and I have 2 potted Brugmansia that are going on their second winter in the basement. They are in 15-inch pots, and currently stand about 6 feet tall. I usually give them a few hours of the plant-light every day, and water them about once a week. They currently look pretty shabby, having dropped most of their leaves after they came indoors. As soon as we get past the last frost, they go back outside on the patio, and usually get new leaves within a few weeks.
Reply:Angel Trumpets can be enjoyed in cooler zones in containers and wintered over in greenhouses, cellars, or heated garages.
Reply:Don't forget they are poisenous. Hope you don't have kids or pets.
Reply:I have three brugmansias and they are all indoors. The problem with them is that they get so big, can get nine feet tall before you realize what is going on with them. They need lots of light and some sun, indoors, to be kept evenly moist but not wet, and need fertilized about once a month with liquid house plant fertilizer.

They will bloom for you but not as well as they do outdoors. Mine do bloom in the house in the winter, but outside on the deck in the summer they really put on a show.

They need to be cut back every year so they can be kept to a manageable size. I have repotted mine every year but they have gotten to such a size now that it is not realistic any more, so I just tip them out of the pot and shake off some of the old soil, and put new soil in the same pot. They respond well to that treatment. If they are too rootbound, you can prune the roots back some.

a side note: if you have plant allergies: my daughter is so allergic to the blooms that she can't be in the same house with a blooming brugmansia, she has the same reaction most people have to ragweed.

What can you tell me about the plant known as angel's trumpet?

Otherwise known as jimsomweed, or can also be called locoweed. I have heard it is also a hallucinogenic if even slightly touched.

What can you tell me about the plant known as angel's trumpet?
Botanical Name: Brugmansia

Common Names: Angel's Trumpet, Toloache, Devil's Weed, Jimsonweed

Toxic Parts: All Parts

Toxins: The three tropane alkaloids atropine, hyoscine, hyoscyamine

Symptoms of Intoxication: Muscle Twitching, Hallucination, Drowsiness, Coma, Fever

--------------------------------------...

Introduction

Native to South America, the herbacious angel's trumpet plant is from the solanaceae family, brugmansia genus. Angel's trumpet thrives in warm soils, with full- to partial sun, and moderate water. Its beautiful fragrant white flowers bloom from late summer to early winter in warmer climates, and from late spring to early fall on the south-west coast. The large 10-12" blooms are generally white, sometimes tinged with slight hints of pink or lilac, and their smell attracts butterflies, fireflies, and bees. The velvety-soft grey-green bush can grow between eight to ten feet in diameter, and the weed-like plant will require much space to creep and crawl.

Chemicals and Poisoning

Though a popular plant especially among enthusiasts of moongardens, all parts of the plant are known sources of the three tropane alkaloids, atropine, hyoscine, and hyoscyamine. These alkaloids are narcotic toxins, which can be fatal if ingested. Due to the fact that many of the non-fatal cases of angel's trumpet poisoning go unreported, it is difficult to be sure of the exact number of poisonings each year.

Read more about it here... http://mason.gmu.edu/~sbahrami/projects/...
Reply:only if you eat the seeds and once you have it it comes back
Reply:I have this plant growing in my garden in NC. Began in spring about a foot tall and is now eight feet tall. Don't know about it being hallucinogenic but the flowers look like trumpets hanging down about 8inches or more. I have a variegated leafed one and my neighbors is solid. Colors range from coral to pink. We treat it as an annual in zone7. New plants cost about 10-15 dollars. I have not tried to winter-over one. Good luck. The profusion of "trumpets" can be spectacular. I'll ask my neighbors if their plants have made them more"loco" than usual.
Reply:The name Jimson Weed is usually applied to Datura species and Angels Trumpet to Brugmansia. These are very closely related genera and both of them contain potentially deadly alkaloids ... these chemical components *can be* hallucinogenic but there is almost no safe way to get the dosage right ... people have died trying it.
Reply:You can die from ingesting any part of this plant! Don't do it! It kills you by shutting down your kidneys....very painful.

These plants take a lot of water and a lot of fertilizer.

How do you take care of an Angel's Trumpet plant in the winter?

If you live in an area that goes below 32 degrees in the winter,it needs to be brought in and winterized-covered so it gets NO light whatsoever, put in a dark cool place(not freezing though)like a basement and take it back out in the spring. If you don't live in a cold area, the advice the others gave was great!

How do you take care of an Angel's Trumpet plant in the winter?
I'm from South Carolina. I know that some people here just cut them back %26amp; they come back every year. You can take the stems that you cut %26amp; place them in water to root them %26amp; plant them in the spring.
Reply:I'm in zone 7 {Georgia}, we cut our back to the ground cover with a pot or mulch, bring in the branch's you cut off and put them in a container of water and let them root over the winter. If your Trumpet is in a container, just bring it in and place it in a sunny window, if the air is dry in your home, keep the plant misted, when it needs water just put it in the shower and let it stay until no water is coming through the bottom holes. I have about 8 growing in the garden now and the temp has already hit freezing and we have had several mornings of frost and the angels are still green and blooming, they are alot stronger than people think. There is no need to put this plant in a dark room and hide it for the winter, wrong advise for this plant!!!!!! Yes it is a tropical, but most house plants you purchase are TROPICALS. As long as you keep your tropical house plants above 50 degrees they will live, inside or outside.
Reply:Keep above 32 °F (0°C)

If outside try covering with shade type cloth or burlap to keep frost off
Reply:Depends on what zone you live in. I am in Zone 9, which is pretty tropical. I left mine in the ground and they did fine for a couple of years. As a matter of fact, my mom is allergic to the blooms so a friend dug mine up and took it. There must have been a piece of root left, b/c it is back and about 7 ft tall now. It is really easy to root them from pieces, so if there is a danger of a freeze, take a cutting and cover the plant w/ an old sheet after watering the plant good.

Is there a difference between an angel's trumpet flower/plant and a devil's flower/plant?

Angel's Trumpet is a Brugmansia and Devil's Flower is a Datura. Angel's Trumpets flowers hang from the plant, while Datura flowers stand upwards. An easy way to remember which is which - Angel's Trumpets look down from Heaven, and Datura flowers look upward and wish they were there. Hope this helps somewhat. But please be careful with them as they are extremely poisonous to humans and animals!

Is there a difference between an angel's trumpet flower/plant and a devil's flower/plant?
Do a search on this site for Datura. I asked this question a day or two ago and got a very comprehensive answer as to the difference between Datura and Brugmansia.
Reply:a lot of plants have different common names depending on where they are growing.

How do you care for an angel's trumpet in the winter in north Carolina?

Do you have to bring it in out of the cold if it is planted in a flower bed? Is there anything else you can do for it besides dig it up when it has been there all summer? Will digging it up after all that time not kill it?

How do you care for an angel's trumpet in the winter in north Carolina?
yes the angel's trumpet plant has to be brought indoors out of the cold.place it in a window with lots of sun.

In which states is angel 's trumpet plant illegall?

Typically it is not illegal, although some American states do have laws ... United States it is called Jimson weed, Gypsum weed, Angel Trumpet, Hells Bells

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel's_trumpets

In which states is angel 's trumpet plant illegall?
If you're talking about Jimson Weed, then the plant itself is found all over the southwest growing wild. It's more than likely illegal to drink the "tea" in all states. It's a damn-fool stupid thing to do anywhere, that much is certain!

What pollinates a Brugmansia? (Angel's Trumpet)?

I live in NE Ohio, and have babied a "pet" Brugmansia for more than ten years. It reached 8 feet tall and stopped, thank goodness, for I have to drag the poor thing inside in October. What I've never been able to find out is: what pollinates those huge, white flowers? A bat? It's fragrant at night time. And whatever it is, it does not live in Ohio. I've never seen seeds. A note: a Brugmansia is NOT a Datura. The flowers are very simular, but the plants are different. Brugmansia flowers hang downward, while Datura flowers point upward.

What pollinates a Brugmansia? (Angel's Trumpet)?
I believe that it is a moth, although I have never gotten seeds on a Brugmansia in northern California, either.
Reply:self pollination may be the answer if u have the only one in ur nieghborhood
Reply:The sphinx or otherwise know as the humming bird moth may be your pollinator.I have seen these many times at night in my moon flowers
Reply:We have grown them and seen them pollenated by moths and night flies. By the way, they are extremely poisonous. They are members of the Jemsin (sp?) family.

Is anyone familiar with Angel's Trumpet?

Got some plants from a friend in Georgia, and want to know where is the best place to plant them (sun/shade?) I live in New York State.

Is anyone familiar with Angel's Trumpet?
it's the first thing you hear after crossing over. tee hee.

well you heard all 'bout it's history from the dude before me, so i'll skip the crud and answer your question. south american native that won't be a happy camper in new york state. a frost will send it into a state of panic. just think what it would do after a couple feet of snow? what me to sugar coat it? or do you want to start finding it a new home right away.? it won't make it thru winter in your neck of the woods. send it south for the winter. will your friend in georgia foster care it for you in winter? since it's only june, at least you can enjoy it for a few months. shelter it from the wind. its foliage tatters easily and can become unattractive. it will astonish your friends with it's imposing look. very fragrant in the evening. if you haven't done it already, trim out all weak, dead or crowed stems. keep it sheltered from the wind and on real hot summer afternoons, give it a bit of shade. nothing special as far as food and water goes. enjoy it this summer, but if ya love it, get it out of town before the first frost. cool plant. have fun. OH YA, DON"T EAT IT!! ALL PARTS ARE POISONOUS.
Reply:Angel's trumpets (Brugmansia species) are found naturalised across the world, and their trumpet flowers exude a beautiful and narcotic scent, particularly at night.

Angel's trumpet (Brugmansia sp.) flowersThey have a long history of use by shamans (medicine men) in South America, and are highly respected plants, used with caution. In the Amazon, they are valued for their power to induce visionary dreams and to reveal causes of disease and misfortune. Various species of angel's trumpet are used either alone or as an additive to 'ayahuasca', an important visionary brew in the region.

All species contain scopolamine and atropine, powerful alkoloids which in sufficient quantities can kill. Scopolamine is responsible for their magical visionary or hallucinatory effects.

What can the plant "angel's trumpet" cure?

specifically its flower

What can the plant "angel's trumpet" cure?
not to sure what it can cure, but the plant is very dangerous. its poisonous so if you eat it, it can cause you to hallucinate, be delirious, or can cause convulsions.
Reply:Common name Bruggmunsia; can cause hullucinations if root is ingested in large amounts. Not known to cure anything. Maybe just a confused mind.
Reply:It's an hallucinogen, especially the roots.
Reply:Flowers, leaves, stems, seeds and roots contain scopolmaine and hyoscyamine. The roots have some atropine and a little hyoscyamine. An alkaloid, floripondine, has been found in the leaves.

Daturas are so lethal that they have been used throughout history and literature as a means of killing a person or committing suicide. Supposedly, it was even used as an execution drug for criminals.

And yet, oddly enough, it also served a pharmaceutical purpose as an ancient Viagra.

But before anybody go running out to find this organic alternative treatment for erectile dysfunction (as if the whole death thing were not enough to deter), it may be that the men who were treated with this for male problems did not in fact have sex after using it. But rather imagined it. Datura is a potent hallucinogenic.

The leaves have also been used as a poltice externally for relieving pain of boils. I would stick to the extrnal-only uses.
Reply:I thought they called it Angel's Trumpet, because if you ingest any part of the plant, including its flower, the Angel's will be blowing their trumpets for you.

In other words, it will cure you of life.

Just know that this plant is Deadly.

Don't fool with it in any way, shape or form.

Could i make my angel's trumpet bloom in a temperature that goes as high as 35 deg centigrade?

Angels Trumpet...

Datura Suaveolens (Brugmansia Suaveolens)

They belong to the family of the Solanaceae.

The beautiful trumpet shaped flowers are usually white with a lovely musk scent. There are other varieties with different colours such as pink, pale orange, %26amp; reddish orange. There is also a gorgeous double flowered variety.

Place of origin: Mexico (the plant is called ESTRAMONIO in spanish).

This means that they are used to high temperatures, and can handle them. This should not affect the flowering of the plant.. which usually blooms all summer. In a good climate even from may to october.

Just make sure they are watered every day in summer, preferably after sundown. and have them planted in rich loose soil

Remember. like many other plants of the Solanaceae family, they are toxic!

Could i make my angel's trumpet bloom in a temperature that goes as high as 35 deg centigrade?
Here in TX, our angel's trumpet bloomed well in summer -but the leaves burned up in the heat. It simply needs just alittle less sun each day. On the flip side, keeping it where it is means it won't have a huge growth spurt and get even bigger...
Reply:Just for interest, are you talking about a

Brugmansia? - blooms hand down.

Or a Datura? Blooms point up.

My husband and I have a passion for both of these and are collecting different colours of the Brugmansia.

Both love the heat, but the Brugmansia does do better with some protection form mid day sun.

Our average temp here in Barbados is 32 degrees but some days it feels like 40 plus, both Brugs and Daturas thrive.

PS. The Brugmansia is a heavy feeder, so feed with high middle number for lots of blooms, frequently.
Reply:you can't *make* it bloom but it should bloom without any trouble up to that kind of temperature ... in my part of Australia they grow well and bloom every year ... and we get temps that reach 40C every now and again.

In wich states is angel's trumpet plant, illegal?

to my knowledge, none. it is what you do with it that can get you in trouble, blind or dead. the toxins are no joke. liver and kidney damage are very painfull ways to go!

I have you ask why you want to know this, I can tell you, but if its for killing off a partner I ain't telling.

additional. If you're thinking of killing yourself, don't, a college friend of mine thought the world was over when her partner dumped her, she tried something else, and thankfully is still alive. Don't look for extreme measures, hey if your single get out there and socialise, failing that contact me, I've had enough death and dispondancy for a lifetime. lburman996@ bt internet.com. (uk address at present as I'm moving to Giro in Japan next week) I'm new at these q@s but would welcome comments.
Reply:I agree, don't mess with daturas or brugmansias. The amount of the psychoactive chemicals varies wildly in the plants and it is as likely you'll overdose than get a high. I've also heard that people who've gotten high using either tend not to even remember the event.

You could go to erowid.com and read about the experiences with datura/brugmansia
Reply:Don't mess with Datura. Heck, you might as well catch and prepare your own Fugu or try experimenting with Amanitas to find out which ones are dangerous. There are quicker and less unpleasant ways to kill yourself if that's what you have in mind.

Is it insane to plant a poisonous Angel’s trumpet (Brugmansia x candida) tree?

Do you have a Brugmansia x candida (Angel’s trumpet) tree or are you an expert? Its high toxicity worries me. I'd love to plant one next to our ground floor porch in a yard of a small apartment building. (We are the only family here with young children, but they are all old enough to avoid eating parts of the tree. ) Is any less poisonous Angel's Trumpet being developed ?

Is it insane to plant a poisonous Angel’s trumpet (Brugmansia x candida) tree?
I removed an angel's trumpet from my yard several years ago. The previous owner was into exotic plants. While I find the plant interesting, I don't think it is worth the potential for trouble. Younger children may move into your area. Your children may have guest who don't understand the dangers. Teenagers (even some adults with fried brains) may steal it to make tea. Peoples pets may eat leaves from it. Shop around. There are hundreds of exotic looking plants that aren't harmful. I like a lot of the rarer gingers.
Reply:I'm a firm believer that knowledge and education are better than censorship. Even if "lollipop" doesn't want a poisonous plant in her garden, what's to keep neighbor from planting one that will grow through, under or over her fence? Will she know what it is? Report It

Reply:Since you don't allow email, I'll have to do this 300 at a time. Of my 9 gardens in town (I volunteer a lot!) I have a fenced core garden of "BAD" plants and weeds for education. You'd be amazed how many people don't know poison ivy! Report It

Reply:I would like to see "lolipop" grow a "trumpet" so she could say, "See this beautiful plant, if you eat it you could get sick or die", It could save someone she loves. Sorry for the rant, but you did ask for it. RSco Report It

Reply:Well, you can try pollenating an Angel's trumpet with a similar, yet non-poisonous tree. See the result and try to plant one.
Reply:It is insane to eat Angel's Trumpet, not to plant it. But, (are you ready this is going to sound like George Bush's abstinace speech) if you want to eliminate all risk just don't plant it. (you can get pregnant if you don't have sex).
Reply:Absolutely not! There are many more deadly plants in nature and gardens everywhere, Monkshood, Foxglove, Hemlock, many mushrooms, Deadly Nightshade, and on and on, just Google it. Oops, sorry, it was "lollipop's" 'answer' I was responding to! RScott

We live in Barabdos, average temp is 32 degrees with some days feeling like 40 plus.

Brugmansias thrive - tho we have found they do prefer some protection from the mid day sun - we found this even when we grew them in British Columbia, Canada, where we hauled them in to our garage for the winter.
